My paintings are inspired by the things that catch my attention — Carolina wildlife, flowers, butterflies, vintage packaging, food, objects from childhood and the ordinary things that somehow become part of our memories.
I work primarily in acrylic on wood panels, using bold color, graphic shapes and hand-painted details. I like paintings that don't take themselves too seriously but still feel carefully made.
