Two Figs is a bold, colorful original painting celebrating one of my favorite fruits in a decidedly non-traditional palette.
Two deep purple figs—one whole and one sliced open—are set against a bright lime green and orange background. The colorful seed details and graphic shapes give this little still life a playful, contemporary folk-art feel.
This original artwork is painted by hand in acrylic on an 8 x 8 inch wood panel. The small size makes it easy to tuck onto a shelf, hang in a kitchen, or add to a colorful gallery wall.
